Our interest in family history was first kindled when a notebook belonging to our grandfather Nat Tobias was found following his death in 1972. However, it was only following the death of our grandmother Tillie Tobias in 1995 that we began our research in earnest. We have now been researching our family tree for approximately 5 years and have succeeded in tracing many of our ancestral branches back to the mid- to late 18th centuries.
On these pages, we have assembled an outline of our family history, covering as many of the different branches as possible. It also, includes a selection of important family photographs which we have accumulated through the help and cooperation of relatives from all parts of the globe.
In preparing this Family History Page we have tried to protect the privacy of living relatives by excluding them from these pages but, if they give their permission to do so, we will happily add them at a later time.
